Stardust
Tonight the Universe has opened its doors to us. Inky waters lapping jagged rocks As we stare into a blanket With the texture of Black velvet apricots, Dark and sweet. A granite sky studded with diamond pins, Linking our present to our past. Ploughing forward, Endlessly, Ceaselessly, Pulled back we are. We gingerly gather our footing, Striving to stand still whilst Clutching wish bottles, tightly sealed. We are set in motion, Spinning tops, shattering. Nothing is stationary.
